    Adrenal Fatigue

    Adrenal Fatigue

The adrenal glands are tiny glands located on the upper part of the kidney. They secrete hormones and help us manage stress, maintain salt and water balance, metabolize carbohydrates and regulate blood sugar.
The adrenal glands may become impaired due to prolonged periods of stress or long term cortisone therapy for arthritis or asthma. Symptoms of adrenal fatigue may be-

    exhaustion
    inability to manage stress
    digestive problems
    weight problems
    inability to focus
    often feeling cold
    discoloration of the skin

These symptoms may be adrenal fatigue or low thyroid function.
Using your symptoms and body temperature as a starting point, Dr. Rind has developed unique tools to help distinguish if your symptoms are adrenal or thyroid, or a combination of both. Holistic treatment for adrenal fatigue should include lifestyle changes such as high quality nutrition, stress management, proper sleep, and appropriate supplements.
