Anita Capizzi  RN, CHC

Anita's philosphy is to meet the client where they are now... and upgrade their nutrition to a healthier level. Small changes can be incorporated over time that increase energy levels and promote better health. She combines her experience as a RN and knowledge of nutrition to help those with chronic illnesses such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease obtain better health "one meal at a time." Other areas of interest are family nutritional support and digestive wellness.
Anita offers individual and group classes. She is active in the local community, speaking to groups, schools and businesses in the Washington, D.C. area about the importance of revamping the "standard American diet" (S.A.D.) so that it promotes optimal health. Anita conducts a 3 month program, Take Control of Your Blood Sugar, for those with Type II diabetes, pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, blood sugar issues or diabetes prevention.
