Holistic Medical Physician (M.D. or D.O.)

National Integrative Health Associates (NIHA), a leading integrative medical and dental center in Washington, D.C. seeks to add a Medical Doctor or D.O. to provide patient care within the patient-centered, integrative health care model. NIHA’s philosophy is to work with patients as partners and to become active participants in improving their physical, mental and emotional health. The holistic physician will address the health care needs of patients using traditional medicine and complementary therapies, and provide patient education on nutrition and lifestyle in order to achieve wellness.
National Integrated Health Associates has a full lab on site and offers traditional and specialty lab testing. The candidate will benefit from collaboration with experienced integrative medical and dental practitioners and innovative approaches to medical care that empower the patient to achieve optimal health.
Candidates must have an M.D. degree or a D.O. degree and be board certified/eligible.

Experience in integrative medicine preferred. Salary is competitive.

Holistic Dentist

Looking for a dynamic dentist for a unique opportunity to join a nationally recognized biological dental group as a full time team member. Enthusiastic attitude and desire to practice healthy dentistry are important. Experienced or not, our dental team will provide training. You’ll work in a state-of-the-art dental and medical integrative healthcare center and coordinate with the dental and medical teams as needed for the overall health of the patient.

Patient Coordinator

NIHA is seeking a full time patient coordinator. The person in this position will be responsible for providing administrative support to two or more doctors or practitioners, managing complex patient issues and doctors schedules, as well as serving as a resource to address and resolve issues for patients and physicians.

Candidates must demonstrate the following skills: organization, accuracy, excellent communication skills, computer literacy to include Microsoft Office, and ability to multi-task. Candidate should be caring and respectul toward patients and sensitive to patient privacy and confidentiality.

Prefer college graduate with medical office, EHR and patient care experience, as well as knowledge or keen interest in integrative medicine.

Nurse Practitioner

We seek an exceptional clinician with superior diagnostic and procedural skills, plus an appreciation of teamwork and professionalism. The successful  Nurse Practitioner candidate will be interested in natural medicine and improving the quality of health care that is patient-centered, safe and effective in our integrative medical center environment.

-Examines, diagnoses and treats patients of all ages for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses.
-Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns.
-Collects, records and maintains accurate patient information. Documents items such as: appropriate chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan.
-Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans.
-Prescribes and administers medications and therapies.
-Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow up.
-Refers appropriate tertiary care to specialists.
