Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is a part-time (15-30 hours/week) position that will collaborate with and provide support to other NIHA affiliated marketing and development associates to help provide a consistent brand identity, practitioner development, program development and messaging of all internal and external sources including NIHA office(s), internet, website, brochures, newsletter, flyers, external ads, social media, conferences, etc. 

Administrative on-site support for day-to-day coordination of marketing and development processes including:

• Create and maintain marketing materials within the office and for events. 
• Overall support of practitioners’ development of practice and progress.
• Develop and coordinate with medical and dental managers timely promotions, review financials, and create marketing materials.
• Coordinate newsletter and website updates.
• Perform and support in-office videotaping and upload files to internet.
• Track internet-sourced leads for timely contact and booked appointments. Prepare weekly report with conversions to appointment.
• Help identify marketing and development opportunities.
• Special projects as needed.

• Help plan, coordinate and create print advertising and digital ads.
• Initiate outreach and/or speaking opportunities for practitioners.
• Identify, plan, prepare and attend conferences.

Support social media efforts to build and develop social media sites for increased brand awareness and growth.

Social Media Specialist

NIHA is looking to increase their social media presence in the local and on-line community with a part- time (approximately 5-10 hours/week) social media specialist. The ideal candidate will understand holistic health and growing and developing social media channels appropriate for a medical and dental business. 

Areas of responsibility will include:
• Build profiles and followings across social sites: Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Nextdoor, as appropriate for health care. 
• Regular posting of health related information and social interest posts across sites to generate interest, interaction, clicks and sharing. 
• Familiarity with social media platforms and management tools required: hootsuite, buffer, other management tools and automated search tools, and Google alert.
• Create infographics, digital ads, Practice/associate engagement images or social engagement activities as needed (skill with photo shop and other graphics programs required). Video creation and experience is a plus. 
• Set goals and monitor existing analytics, e.g. Google Analytics to improve content and achieve measurable results. 
• Manage and monitor social (on-line) reputation and respond to reviews, both negative and positive in Yelp, Google+, etc. to build positive brand awareness and customer loyalty. 
• Information should be consistent with NIHA’s professional standards and integrative approach to medical and dental.

Dental Assistant

NIHA is seeking an enthusiastic, part time (could possibly become full time) dental assistant to join our Holistic Family Dentistry team within an integrated healthcare center. Successful applicant must have 3 to 5 years of experience, with good communication skills. Some Saturday, early morning and evening hours required. Experience and knowledge of dental computer software is essential. Dental Assistant registration in the District of Columbia is a must.

Patient Coordinator

NIHA is seeking a full time Patient Coordinator. The person in this position will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing complex patient issues and patient schedules, as well as a resource to address and resolve issues for physicians and patients.

Candidates must demonstrate the following skills: organization, accuracy, excellent communication skills, compassion, multi-tasking and ability to maintain confidentiality, computer literacy to include Microsoft Office and medical office EHR. Patient care experience is very important, as well as knowledge of integrative medicine.

NIHA seeks to add a Medical Doctor to provide patient care within the patient-centered, integrative health care model. Our philosophy is to work with patients as partners and to become active participants in improving their physical, mental and emotional health. The holistic physician will address the health care needs of patients using traditional medicine and complementary therapies, and provide patient education on nutrition and lifestyle in order to achieve wellness.

NIHA has a full lab on site and offers traditional and specialty lab testing. The candidate will benefit from collaboration with experienced integrative medical and dental practitioners and innovative approaches to medical care that empower the patient to achieve optimal health.

Candidates must have an M.D. degree and be board certified/eligible. Experience in integrative medicine preferred. Salary is competitive.
