Dental Business Coordinator
Looking for the right person to serve as a dental business coordinator in a highly sophisticated, nationally recognized Holistic Family Dental practice. The role of the business coordinator is to provide the administrative support and operational oversight for a group dental practice.
You must have:
Outstanding communication skills, and the ability to connect with patients and the team.
The skills needed to present and coordinate dental treatment cases.
Coding and insurance knowledge.
Need to have flexibility in times, either early morning, evening shifts, or some weekends.
Be able to multi-task and work within a fast paced environment.
Transactions Coordinator Part Time
The coordinator provides the final contact for a patient visit and delivers the “closing services” that includes obtaining feedback on the visit, product fulfillment, processing the transaction, collecting money and making the next appointment.
Candidate must be organized, detail oriented and accurate. Computer proficient and knowledge of Nextgen practice management software a plus, and skilled at multi-tasking. Must be able to respect and maintain confidential information. High school graduate with one year of billing, payment or other financial experience preferred.
Patient Coordinator/ Full time and Part Time
NIHA is seeking a full time and part time patient coordinator. The person in this position will be responsible for providing administrative support to two or more doctors or practitioners, managing complex patient issues and doctors schedules, as well as serving as a resource to address and resolve issues for patients and physicians.
Candidates must demonstrate the following skills: organization, accuracy, excellent communication skills, computer literacy to include Microsoft Office, and ability to multi-task. Candidate should be caring and respectul toward patients and sensitive to patient privacy and confidentiality.
Prefer patient care experience, as well as knowledge or keen interest in integrative medicine.
NIHA is seeking an enthusiastic, full time or part time dental assistant to join our Holistic Family Dentistry team within an integrated healthcare center. Successful applicant must have 3 to 5 years of experience, with good communication skills. Some Saturday, early morning and evening hours required. Experience and knowledge of dental computer software is essential. Dental Assistant registration in the District of Columbia is a must.

Holistic Medical Physician (M.D. or D.O.)

-Collects, records and maintains accurate patient information. Documents items such as: appropriate chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan.
-Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans.
-Prescribes and administers medications and therapies.
-Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow up.
-Refers appropriate tertiary care to specialists.
