Dr. Bradley has over 17 years of experience as a general pediatrician. She believes in the power of the body to heal itself, which led to her journey of becoming a Holistic and Integrative Medicine Provider. She has a cheerful heart, which is most appropriate and genuinely LOVES taking care of children and their families. She believes that children are barometers of family dynamics and sees the vital role of genetics, environment, nutrition, and toxic exposures on the overall impact of a child’s health. As a pediatrician, Dr. Bradley’s primary goal is to assist families in the amazing growth and development of a child into a healthy, happy and productive adult. She loves solving puzzles and approaches her care of patients as an M.D., which is an acronym for “Medical Detective”. She is a sleuth constantly looking for clues and causes of disease. In her practice, Dr. Bradley uses holistic and integrative modalities to find the most likely disease suspect (s) and puts it under arrest to allow her patients to have the best health outcomes and ultimately an abundant life!
Dr. Bradley is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Child Health at Howard University College of Medicine and a General Pediatrician at Howard University Hospital. She is a Board Certified pediatrician who graduated from Hampton University with honors majoring in Biology. She received a full scholarship to complete her Medical Degree and Masters of Science Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her Pediatric Residency training at Howard University Hospital. She also served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society while at Howard University Hospital. Dr. Bradley received some fellowship training in Community Pediatrics and Child Advocacy at Georgetown University and Public Health training from George Washington University. Dr. Bradley’s research interests include Holistic and Integrative Pediatrics with a focus on Spirituality, Mindfulness, Meditation, Macronutrient Supplementation, Food as Medicine and Medical Food prescriptions as Holistic and Integrative approaches to diseases, particularly with emphasis on ethnic and cultural preferences and accessibility for the urban population that she serves. She received Board Certification in Holistic and Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Holistic and Integrative Medicine in 2009, now known as the Academy of Holistic and Integrative Medicine (AHIM). She more recently received certification in AHIM’s Leadership in Administration in 2014. She is additionally a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Section on Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Bradley is the Clerkship Director and Developer of the Holistic and Integrative Pediatric Elective at Howard University’s College of Medicine since 2009. She received institutional funding to develop the program at Howard and has successfully trained multiple Medical students enrolled at Howard University’s College of Medicine as well as outside Allopathic and Osteopathic Institutions. She is the recipient of funding from the Weil Foundation to develop and implement the University of Arizona’s curriculum for Integrative Medicine in Residency Electives for three residency training programs (the Departments of Community and Family Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Internal Medicine Residency Training Programs) at Howard University. Dr. Bradley is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at Howard University’s School of Business, and is invested in the best care delivery models of Holistic and Integrative Wellness for all patients.
