    Inspiration
As a physician and mother of a recovering autistic child, Dr. Freeman has immersed herself into the world of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and the interventions that alleviate its symptoms. When her own son improved immediately with dietary interventions, Dr. Freeman was swept into a world for which medical school did not fully prepare her. Her education continued into the realms of nutrition, allergy elimination, and detoxification among others. It became clear that ASD is not simply a psychological disorder, but a complex derangement of the gastrointestinal, immune, and neurological systems triggered by an increasingly toxic environment. As a result, she recognizes the importance of preparing a woman’s body for conception in order to ensure a healthy, balanced start for future babies. Dr. Freeman’s passion for understanding and defeating autism opened the window that enabled her to gain a holistic view of the body and its interrelationship with the emotional and physical environments. The impact of this understanding grants Dr. Freeman the ability to relate to patients as a whole and guide them in their journey to wellness.
