    What is Classical Chinese Medicine?

Classical Chinese Medicine is rooted in the fundamental philosophy that health means  to align the Mind, Body and Spirit with the mandate of Nature while allowing the body to change and grow dynamically within this framework. Utilizing simple and minimally invasive therapies, Chinese Medicine has proven itself over thousands of years as a safe and effective healthcare modality.

    How does Chinese Medicine Work?

Our bodies have within them a series of meridians that are much like rivers, carrying the energy that fuels and motivates to life our system, Qi.  Occasionally these channels are blocked through trauma, environmental factors, lifestyle, or a myriad other causes.  The blockage of these channels can cause illness.

Acupuncture, Acupressure, Cupping, Herbs, Massage and other Chinese Medicine modalities have been used for over 3000 years to free the blockages in the meridians thus allowing the energy (Qi) to flow between and within the body and nature leading to a state of harmony and balance.  Documented cases of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine date back over 4000 years and include treatments of both humans and animals.
